Customer Reviews
fun interviews!
Jess is enthusiastic and a great interviewer! she does her homework and makes it fun!!
Entertaining but Repetitive
Jess enthusiasm comes through in her interviews which provides for a sweet listening experience but at the other hand, she asks a question and then answer it before the guest has an opportunity to answer it for themselves. If she consider the guest important she let them talk but if she is chatting with another podcaster she will often interrupt them. Many times you're left wondering what the guest was going to say because after she answers for them, the give a short answer. Even if once, she always finds a way to talk about the Housewives of [Insert city here]. I listen to the show for pop culture, I don’t care for the Housewives. Its fine if thats Jess passion but the more diversity her show has and she allows the guests to answer it will provide for a better listening experience.
It was a fun show, but the host has a weird hang up on trans people
For example: on the lesbian “it” girls episode, the host made a comment about people getting top surgery in response to a brief discussion about breasts. The discussion was suggested to be moved offline, as a way to avoid getting “political.” This is not the first time that the host has made disparaging comments about trans people.
