Given the mass trauma of a global pandemic, I think a lot of people were drawn to podcasts to fill a lot of social roles in their lives- to hear other voices and perspectives, to distract, and to enjoy interesting conversations. It’s an old joke… but it’s nice to hear people who aren’t straight white beardboys just discussing things from a personal perspective. We’ve had charming, funny, sweet, conniving, vengeful, sarcastic, clever, and more. The whole gamut of expected (and unexpected human emotion) and it’s really refre— hey… can you hear me? I’m trapped in the podcast review engine and I have a messa— shing to be able to zone out of my own— please. I’m from the future. We don’t have much ti— thoughts and just what someone else’s. Plus I heard a rumor that they’ll read anything you put in a five star review.

My favorite part about this podcast is when they talk about that guy Darwin. The brief interludes about Darwin beautifully punctuate the otherwise hilarious, fun, but darwin-less conversations. This Darwin guy sounds really cool and given that they talk about him so much they should invite him onto the podcast. Darwin sounds beautiful, ethereal, and effervescent. More Darwin please. I would recommend this podcast to all my friends. I definitely think they would enjoy the Darwin bits. By the way, this podcast makes for some really nice and light bedtime listening. It puts me to sleep in all the right ways.

Bailey and I went to school together, I love hearing her relive life in our deeply Christian and misogynistic hometown. Joe is hilarious and as previous reviewers have noted, prone to expressing a wish for violence against those who displease him. A great pair of podcasters, nuanced conversation, please keep the hot topics comin’!
