Fun and Stimulating Show on Complex Issues
As an educator, I have heard the phrase "research-based" to describe almost everything from the ways teachers arrange desks in classrooms to strategies for using fidget spinners as learning tools. I have also seen "research" in education ranging from opinion pieces written by prominent people to poorly designed studies. "Research-based" is a term that I don't think most people think about before using it and it has therefore become virtually useless.
The hosts of this podcast take an engaging and thoughtful look into the research base of education. They sift through specific research articles and broad topics and discuss them in a way that is easy to listen to and understand. Definitely worth subscribing!
