On an ordinary evening in November 1993, Micah’s entire world collapsed when her father, Nolan, died in a car accident. Time passed, and Micah suffered from terrifying night terrors and a mysterious recurring dream that left her exhausted and on edge.
How it Ends was meant to free her from her nightmares and help her deal with her loss… but Micah's world changes once again when she receives new information about her father’s accident from an unexpected source… And she discovers that sometimes dreams aren’t dreams at all—they’re memories.

Customer Reviews
they feel like family to me!
the characterization of each and every one of these episodes blows me away every time. i feel like i can see and feel exactly what the characters do. the mystery only gets better as the episodes play, so of course this show is worth a listen, and then a re-listen, and maybe even 5 times over, especially since there's SO much to unpack with every single person they introduce to us!
it may seem a little slow to begin, but believe me, it's worth it guys. if you go in open minded and willing to have a great story told to you, it's genuinely one of the best shows you can throw on. i love the supernatural lore and events sewn together with such realistic depictions of young adulthood.
To the team: thank you so much! i can tell this means a lot to them, and that's honestly the most worth-it part of the equation here. thank you guys! ❤️
Slow but Real and Worth Every Minute
This is a very slow-burn spooky drama where a small group of friends research, argue, investigate, and get terrified. It’s very different from most horror-adjacent podcasts because it all feels very real — the conversations sound like real conversations, the evil people are believably awful, not VILLAINS, and when characters get hurt, it feels real, not “dramatic injury.” It’s definitely a long haul, but I bought into the characters enough to fret all through COVID that it might not come back, but it did! Our main characters are messy, sometimes frustrating people doing their best in a bad place. Try it out, it might be for you!
Love it
Kept me thinking and entertained. Has characters I’d like to know.
