In this trailer and episode number 1, I explain the reason why I created this podcast called, First WAVES. I highlight how this show will add value to all of you who work in a company, and you are NOT in a management role. You may have a Lean Six Sigma certification, or you do not yet have a certification. This podcast is for you if you feel you would like to come out of the hamster wheel to give your career a further boost. - Do you worry that you might get stuck for too long doing the same things at work repeatedly without progress? - Are you concerned that coming to work will leave you with an uncomfortable feeling, that you will waste time on non-value-added discussions, process rework loops and spend your energy and time writing unnecessary emails? - Do you want to get management attention by bringing even more value to the company? - Do you happen to have a LSS Green Belt or Black certification and don’t know what´s next? If you answered “yes” to any of the above questions, this podcast is for you! In this trailer, I will briefly tell you my story and how it motivated me to create this podcast for you. My name is Juan Eduardo Steigerwald, I am a former senior corporate executive who worked for many years as a senior consultant at a well-known consulting company and later I worked 13 years for one of the largest banks in the world, as their Chief Quality Officer. In this role I established and managed various international teams and deployed over a dozen Business Excellence programs, which were adapted for each legal entity of the business. Today, I am founder and manager of an environmentally friendly online training company called WAVE Business Excellence Footprint, based in Valencia, Spain. In this show, it is my mission to share with you the tools and methods which I learned and applied in the previous decades on how to further develop your career and introduce you to other interesting guests who navigated their way successfully in the corporate world and made it into an exciting and joyful journey. In most episodes I will create a free document with simple actionable steps that can be tested by you, to see if it also brings you value.
