The Call for Man unto Godly Garments - Part 2 The Burden of Bearing

Outfits, clothes, attire, uniforms… Interestingly enough, the choice of clothes we wear are often a reflection of how we feel in terms of priority-labelling in the environment in-which we are residing.  Example:  What I wear to Walmart, is very likely not what I would wear to my nephew’s graduation ceremony.  In the sense of our spiritual clothes, or honestly, sometimes naturally speaking, what are we “wearing” in the presence of God? How does our actions reflect our priorities when it comes to our relationship with Jesus?  In this message, we step into the priestly garments of Aaron and discover something deeper than fabric and jewels — we discover what it means to be carried by divine strength and held close to the heart of God.  The shoulder stones were engraved with the names of the tribes — not written in chalk… but engraved in permanence. The breastplate held twelve unique stones — each tribe different, yet all resting over the priest’s heart. Strength on the shoulders.  Love over the heart.  Light and perfection guiding from within.  This is not just a lesson about ancient garments.  It is a revelation of Christ.  You are not carried by your strength — you are carried by His  You are not forgotten — your name is engraved. You are not unloved — you are held over His heart.  And the question remains:  Are you clothed in what God has provided… or standing without the garment?  Come expecting revelation.  Come ready to examine what you are wearing.  Come and discover the beauty of being borne upon His shoulders and carried upon His heart. "WANTED: Dead AND Alive | Part 2 - Death Has No Hold!"

Oh death where's thy sting? Oh grave where's thy victory? You may not realize this, but when the Apostle Paul wrote these words, he was actually taunting death or as we might say today, he was trolling it.   “Oh death, where's your sting? Oh grave, where's your victory?”   We continue our powerful series Wanted: Dead and Alive, Part Two: Death Has No Hold.   If we're going to be honest, death can be terrifying. See, as a funeral assistant myself, I see that fear all the time—its finality, certainty, its weight. But the scripture declares something absolutely radical. The Bible actually personifies death and declares it as our enemy and of course Jesus Christ as its conqueror. By becoming man, Jesus Christ redeems man and by experiencing death himself, he then defeats it. You see, apart from Christ, death did have legal access to us, but because of the payment of death of Jesus Christ on the cross, Jesus now holds the keys. So in Christ, we have that authority. The grave has lost all of its access and fear no longer has a rightful place in the heart of a believer. For if we believe that he died and rose again, we believe also that we shall be raised up with him in newness of life. Death might affect the body, but in Christ, it cannot affect the soul. This week we're looking at the victory of Christ over death and why the Christian should no longer have any bondage to it.  Let us be reminded and encouraged that death is not the end, but is actually the beginning.
