HSP: A Bit Much

I turn 50 next week and only found out I was an HSP a month ago. And I am like aaaaallllll the way on the high sensitive scale 🤪Something that I am realizing is that I have no other friends that are HSPs they are all very much the opposite of me and my husband is the exact opposite as well which makes communication a challenge with all my people. This is something that has always been hard in my relationships because I always feel so misunderstood. I am really struggling with friendships and finding myself shrinking and silencing myself a lot. I want deep connections with all my people but I live in a world that is too busy and too filled with things and no one leaves any margin for deep friendship. I feel so isolated. I want to be able to use the things I’m learning about myself to help me in my friendships but can’t really find a way to open the door to communicate my needs. It’s a struggle. I’m thankful to find these podcasts to help me know I’m not alone in this and I’m not broken. Thanks for speaking up and giving us a voice!
