This is going to be a very friendly and accessible way to keep abreast of local City Council affairs. We think we don’t need to know what’s going on, but some of the Council’s activities are not “transparent,” and some things get discussed and passed without citizen input. Joy points out how this happens using current examples. Joy does not claim to be an authority on matters of city government, but she’s EXTREMELY observant and logical and has a very progressive citizen’s point of view from which she never wavers.
