27- Are We Surrendering Our Humanity to Machines?

Living Well with Technology. In Episode 27 of the Human Pulse Podcast, hosts Anne Trager and Fabrice Neuman shift from practical tech advice to a philosophical discussion on the evolving relationship between humans and machines. Inspired by the work of philosopher Jean-Michel Besnier, they explore whether our reliance on intelligent technology enriches our lives or causes us to surrender our humanity. The hosts debate the nuances of AI as a tool versus a crutch, citing examples of generative AI errors in journalism. They also break down psychiatrist Serge Tisseron’s four stages of our relationship with objects—viewing them as servants, witnesses, accomplices, and emotional partners. The conversation concludes with a look at the dangers of anthropomorphizing AI and the transhumanist drive to become "repairable objects" in the quest for immortality. ⸻ Recording Date: Nov. 16th, 2025 Hosts: Anne Trager – Human Potential & Executive Performance Coach & Fabrice Neuman – Tech Consultant for Small Businesses ⸻ Connect with us Fabrice Neuman Connect with Fabrice on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/fabriceneuman/ Connect with Fabrice on Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/fabriceneuman.fr Find out more: https://www.pro-fusion-conseils.fr Anne Trager Connect with Anne on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/annetrager/ Connect with Anne on Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/annetrager.com Find out more: https://www.potentializer-academy.com Book a call: https://calendly.com/potentializer-academy/lets-talk We would also appreciate a rating and review in Apple Podcasts and Spotify. 26- Stephanie Thurrott: If It's Not Magical, Why Are You Using It?

Living Well with Technology. In this episode, Fabrice Neuman and Anne Trager speak with Stephanie Thurrott, a seasoned freelance writer and content creator with over 20 years of experience. Stephanie defines "living well with technology" through the concepts of energy management and magic. Our conversation explores digital boundaries. Stephanie recounts practicing balance over detox during a vacation, avoiding work email and social media but still using maps. This made her aware of mindless phone checks. Back home, she moved app icons to different screens to create a mental trigger, forcing her to ask, "Wait, why am I here? ». A Work-from-Home veteran, Stephanie manages focus by killing most notifications and stressing the necessity of a dedicated physical office space for mental separation. Outside of work, she uses AI as a personal assistant to research complex topics like travel insurance or used cars. But the most profound "magical" technology in her life is her son's cochlear implant, which she calls extraordinary. The episode concludes that living well with tech means embracing the magic, but also asking, "When it's not magical, …why isn’t it, and why are you using it?" Our warm thanks to Stephanie Thurrott for this wonderfully practical and personal conversation. Oh, and… 60 square meters equal 645 square feet. ⸻ Recording Date: Oct. 31st, 2025 Hosts: Fabrice Neuman – Tech Consultant for Small Businesses & Anne Trager – Human Potential & Executive Performance Coach ⸻ Connect with us Fabrice Neuman Connect with Fabrice on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/fabriceneuman/ Connect with Fabrice on Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/fabriceneuman.fr Find out more: https://www.pro-fusion-conseils.fr Anne Trager Connect with Anne on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/annetrager/ Connect with Anne on Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/annetrager.com Find out more: https://www.potentializer-academy.com Book a call: https://calendly.com/potentializer-academy/lets-talk We would also appreciate a rating and review in Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
