A lot of giggling and talking instead of getting straight to the story.

If you are interested in this topic go listen to “Sold in America” by a true journalist who pays respect to such a serious topic. I tried to listen to this and it was so disrespectful to the severity of the subject. “Do they have internet or cable” when talking and laughing about a mom who sent her children to America and can’t find the on the other side of the border. It gives out of touch white women.

A little too much commentary and laughing during stories like these doesn’t seem appropriate to me. I listened for about 20 minutes and wanted to finish the story, but the giggling was a little too disruptive.

With legal related podcasts it’s best to have hosts who understand criminal justice system or at least do research beyond (seemingly) a few wiki page reads.
