Love the podcast! Just listened to your podcast with Russ and as your friendly resident burner chick wanted to point out some misinformation he gave about Burning Man and gray water (not gray matter, that’s in your brain 😉). You can’t dump gray water not because of hippy dippy “moop” reasons. It’s because Burning Man is held in a dried up lake bed, the ground is not absorbing soil or sand, it’s dusty clay so it will not absorb water at the same rate as average soil. If everyone were dumping out their water it would create a very slippy, icky, worse-than-mud, unfun time for everyone. Plus it violates the rules set by the Black Rock Desert Bureau of Land Management and if you get caught dumping any kind of water by them or the police that troll around the playa you could get hit with a citation and a very hefty fine.

Keep up the good work and come burn with us sometime!
