    In today's episode, I sit down with Mr. Whitetail himself, Larry Weishuhn. Larry Weishuhn, known across the outdoor world as "Mr. Whitetail," is a professional wildlife biologist, award-winning outdoor writer, author, and television personality who has spent more than six decades in the field. A native Texan and Texas A&M-trained wildlife scientist, he got his start working on Texas's pioneering wildlife disease research and later served as a technical assistance biologist helping landowners build quality deer programs across South Texas. Over his career, Larry has established wildlife management programs on more than 15 million acres and helped develop many of the deer and habitat management practices hunters rely on today. He has written thousands of articles and several award-winning books, appeared in hundreds of television episodes, and currently co-hosts "A Sportsman's Life" and the podcast "DSC's Campfires with Larry Weishuhn."
