I don’t know what I would have done without this podcast. Drew Boa and this podcast helped me survive the roughest parts of my recovery journey — directly after first disclosure with my wife. This podcast has also helped me through the dog days of recovery, when I have just needed some encouragement or a reminder of the truth that I am God’s beloved son and somehow, in me He is well pleased. Both the interview episodes and solo episodes that Drew hosts are absolutely solid. Biblically based, science backed, deep, personal, and practical. Husband Material has on a regular basis reminded me that freedom is possible. It has given me new perspectives to reflect on and practical tools to put to use in my recovery. After around a year and a half of regularly listening to this podcast, I am sure that God is doing good work through the Husband Material ministry. And I believe, though I am not fully there yet, that He can help me to, in Drew’s words, heal my heart, change my brain, and save my relationship. Let’s go 🤲🏼

In HM I found a safe place where all that I’ve been struggling with, trauma, anxiety, panic attacks etc., and realized that a lot of men also struggle with these issues. Sexual addictions, sexual behaviors are a big issue also, as it is very hard to talk to anyone about them. It has been a life saver for me joining Husband Material. And Drew is not just the facilitator but also walks alongside with us and shares his struggles as well. This helps a lot because you see others striving and moving forward. Because of that, I know there is hope for me, I can also heal.

I found this podcast from a rec from a book on Male Sexual Abuse. The host shows great compassion and insight on dissecting such a rampant issue in our society today. Each of his guest bring a level of knowledge and healing to make you wanna take action steps in ending such unwanted sexual addictions. Truly grateful I came across this podcast. It truly is life changing.
