The 30 Day Husband Prayer Challenge exists to encourage Christian wives to live out biblical marriage and develop a consistent prayer habit on behalf of their husbands and their marriage. The HPC revolves around a community of encouraging women seeking to hold each other accountable in prayer.

    Day 40: Our Sanctification

    What a gift to be able to prepare to enter Heaven's gates one day and meet our Savior and look back to remember how the Lord used our marriages to prepare us for that moment.  How our Heavenly Father, lovingly gave us a brother in Christ to join in convenant with and in turn prepare our hearts for our heavenly home.     Day 39: Our Forgiveness

    It's the linchpin of the gospel, and I can personally admit that I could do a much better job at forgiving my husband.  It's not even necessarily the big things I hold on to, but it's all the little things I stack up and allow in like little foxes that threaten to destroy my marriage. Today, we pray for the softening of the Holy Spirit and the opportunity to forgive our husband and allow the Lord to do a healing and restoring work in our marriage. Praying with you, Ashley

    Lord, if we ever needed your grace, it's now.  Grow us in loving patience. Today is day 38 and we're praying to have this fruit of the spirit in abundance.     What a blessing to trust an unknown future to an intimately known God. Today, we're praying for our future while also holding the weight of knowning that our days are numbered and we're not promised tomorrow.  We're praying for the wisdom and opportunity to dream while also living the full life here in the present.     Each day has countless opportunities for us to seek wisdom from the Lord and scriptures regarding how we are to speak, respond, parent, love, and live out Matthew 6:33. Today, we're praying for our wisdom and patience as we wait. I hope the Lord brings people into your life and marriage that will bless you with wise council, even if and when it may be hard to hear.     Our hope comes from one place. Today, we're praying for our hope to be built on the foundation of God's faithfulness, love, and goodness. God's word is full of scripture, and if you're struggling to have hope in your marriage can I gently encourage you to go there.  I promise it's the best place to run to for hope and encouragement.     Today's prayer is for our waiting.  It's hard for me to think of something more productive in our Christian walk than waiting.  The emotions that come with a season of waiting can be excruciating, but the season also has the potential to produce a depth in us that not many other things can. Whether you're praying for a diagnosis, a baby, a job, a new home, a breakthrough, an emotional healing, or something else that is weighing heavy, today I encourage you to surrender your waiting.  Open your hands and trust the Father SEES you and is a good father with good plans for your life.     Day 33: Our Connection

    "Catch the foxes for us, the littel foxes that spoil the vineyards, for our vinyards are in blossom". Song of Solomon 2:15 You are not alone. A long list of women have prayed for connection this season, to be more emotionally and physically connected to their husband.  The list is long of "foxes" that can get into our marriage and cause division, apathy, and disconnect. Truthfully, some of the things that are dividing us aren't inherently BAD things, but just like our relationship with Christ, we can allow anything to become an ideal and affect our genuine connection.  Today, we're praying for our connection (emotionally, spiritually, and physically) within our marriage.
