#186: Building Wealth with Teri Ijeoma

Last week, I shared my journey with trading stocks. That’s all because a good friend introduced me to Teri Ijeoma back in 2022. Teri has made $1 million in a day in the stock market (multiple times) and has the #1 course on Teachable. Not only is she an amazing businesswoman, she’s an incredible teacher. I’m so lucky to have learned from her.
Lucky for you, Teri graciously agreed to come on Hustle & Flow to share with you her story of building wealth and why we all need to have this financial skillset.
Tune in now and then be sure to sign up for Teri’s upcoming Take Your First Trade Challenge at http://www.HeatherJoyHubbard.com/Trade.
As a student and beneficiary of Teri’s teachings, I happily agreed to be an affiliate partner. That means if you sign up for her programs through my link, I earn a commission. I rarely promote other products or programs and wouldn’t promote Teri if I didn’t deeply believe in her work.

#185: Making Money in the Stock Market

I’ve not told too many people this, but I’m finally starting to share that I’m a full-time day-trader. Never in a million years would I have thought that would be my profession. It wasn’t something I planned. It kind of just happened.
During my health sabbatical, I needed a way to distract my mind and make money without having to be public-facing. So, I decided to learn how to trade stocks. Fast forward 18-months, and I’m a professional full-time trader.
Yes, I still have the podcast and lead retreats, but trading stocks has provided me more freedom and flexibility in prioritizing what brings me the most joy.
In today’s Hustle & Flow episode, I’m sharing why I love trading so much, why I think everyone needs this skillset, and how you can start making short-term investments even as a busy professional.
    Chapters
    00:29 - Introduction to short-term trading
05:01 - Learning about investments growing up

Great show!

I love Heather’s straightforward advice and her focus on helping women excel in their careers. She’s moving to serving all professional, ambitious women, but I most love the episodes that provide specific advice to lawyers. Her rise through the ranks of her former firm gives her so much insight into reaching success in a firm. Either way, I almost always come away with a new actionable tip or something that makes me think differently listening to her show.

This is my favorite podcast! I listen to Heather Hubbard and feel inspired to take action. Every episode is full of insight and always interesting. The Get It Done Challenge and planning programs are a must do!!!

My Mentor in a Podcast!

I have been practicing law in small town, North Carolina for just over 12 years after hanging my shingle straight out of law school in 2007. While I have an amazing, older (male) law partner mentor, there are so many things about the business side of practice that I know I need to evolve to grow in the future - including my own productivity and efficiency. I just started listening to podcasts in 2020 and this was the first - and the best! Heather is not only a great advisor, she is so easy to listen to and I feel so comfortable taking her advice! This podcast has given me so much drive to improve my practice in 2020! Thank you!
