My wife and I listened to our first episode as we drove from Port Angeles to SEA-TAC a week ago, then got in a second one on a late-night drive from SLC to Burley ID, later that same day. The third episode helped keep us awake on the drive back to our house the next night. Needless to say, the podcast from these good old boys, Jason and Shawn, is magnificent and left us shiny and happy.
I confess, these charming men have the right stuff, so let’s hear it for these boys. Their podcast is engaging, humorous, and just like heaven. It’s a fun romp down amnesia lane for anyone who spent formative years in the raddest decade ever. I equally enjoy agreeing with their spot-on 80’s accolades and shaking my head in disbelief when they miss the mark. Honestly, the latter are the exception, though I almost threw my Trapper Keeper at the radio when Shawn translated Depeche Mode as “Fast Fashion.” Talk about a blasphemous rumor!
This podcast is a great listen and turns any time of the day into a happy hour. I want my “I’m From the 80’s” so please, please, please let me get what I want and keep the episodes coming! You’ve got my support and your two dollars are in the mail!
