    Quiet Quitting

    Quiet Quitting

What is “Quiet Quitting”? On this episode we discuss the meaning, or lack thereof, of the newest corporate buzzword. Spoiler alert: it has nothing to do with quitting. Cari Anne uses the same skills she learned working in corporate, including lessons from the FBI’s lead hostage negotiator, to explain why this new phrase defies basic human logic. She surgically dissects why this manufactured phrase makes zero sense in its attempt to coerce people into working for free.

The Ignorance in Saying “No One Wants to Work”

The Ignorance in Saying “No One Wants to Work”

Is it that "no one wants to work" or is it that "no one is motivated to work"? After all, isn't the entire Great Resignation about employee motivation? On this episode, we dissect why any of us even work in the first place: to meet our human needs. Cari Anne exposes how the American workplace isn't meeting those needs, and why that signals to our innate human instincts to consider other options.

I wish there were more episodes!

This is an amazing podcast! After working in corporate America for 11 years, it’s easy to relate to the host’s stories and witty takes on working life as a millennial. I’d recommend a listen to anyone else feeling perpetual burnout.

Very Relatable!

I just started listening to this podcast and found it so entertaining! I encountered similar toxic work environments in corporate banking and law. This podcast really exposes a broken employment model through the lens of Cari Anne’s expertise and wit.
