Episode 33: Stop Paying People To Have Coffee With You

Episode 33: Stop Paying People To Have Coffee With You

In your friendships, are you the one who keeps them going? Do you initiate the contact, and put in the time and effort?
You may even be like I used to be where you find when you go for coffee, out to lunch or dinner or to do some other activity, that you are the person who pipes up and says "I'll pay for it".
If you are why are you the person who generally holds the responsibility, pays, and organizes things? Join me as I explore my process of how having coffee with friends, involved me paying for both mine and theirs.
Why? Because I didn't want to owe anyone anything. I didn't know how to receive and my lack of self-worth and neediness were driving me.
    THIS EPISODE  You explore:

How what appear to be insignificant and irrelevant occurrences, can be the key to deep-seated patterns of a lack of self-worth
The influence of what may feel like unrelated experiences, on how you live your life now
How the process of sabotage and rejection deny you of what you truly deserve
How ceasing to pay for someone's coffee was an opportunity for huge growth.

I look forward to the adventure with you as we unravel, heal and uncover together to make a difference in who we are

Episode 31: Emergent Processing - Not Giving Up On Hope

Episode 31: Emergent Processing - Not Giving Up On Hope

I invite you to embark on my exploration of hope with me.  How a personal meditation I won as a prize, which involved an initial conversation, prompted processing in me that took me on a journey of reflection on my life and my relationship with hope.
In this episode, I delve into the transformative power of meditation and its impact on my journey toward finding inner peace and stability. How it became a beacon of hope for me until I realized that my growth, was being hindered and limited by it.
This episode explores how through my processing I uncover my journey of hope from how I had defined it as a lifeline for me to escape where I was at, to becoming something I suppressed, ultimately rejected, and gave up on. To embracing it as an internal flame of belief, trust, and self-driven progress.
My introspection led me to release old conditioning, connect more to my true self, and embrace a new perspective on hope. I discovered what hope truly means to me, its implications in my life, and its transformative potential. I came to appreciate hope in a way I have not previously done so.
    THIS EPISODE  You will:

Share in my journey of meditation which led me to connect with hope
Explore how hope is an important process for our growth and evolvement
Come to know how, in becoming my true self I rejected hope and made it wrong
Hear how I gave up on hope and the impact of that on me
Explore how I reconnected to hope in a new and different way

Episode 30: Being Inspired By Yourself

Episode 30: Being Inspired By Yourself

Being inspired by yourself is a natural and powerful process. Where you are fascinated and curious about who you are, the inspiration and potential you have within you, and the inspiration you will discover and express from you.
Yet you may look to other people, objects, and environments for inspiration. You can experience bursts of inspiration instead of a flow. When you are inspired, the energy you experience is vibrant and can even be overwhelming. Why? Why do you experience all of these processes?
The answer is in where you are at in your growth and connection to yourself, the true you. In this episode, I explore:

    The process of inspiration
    What inspiration is
Why do you experience flashes of inspiration
Why you may look to external things for inspiration
Your true inspiration and being inspired by yourself
Some key questions to support you to explore your inspiration

There are questions at the end of the episode to encourage your exploration of your self-inspiration, so you grow your awareness and understanding of your process of inspiration.

Episode 29: Processing Reflections With Minz And Barb - Welcome Barb

Episode 29: Processing Reflections With Minz And Barb - Welcome Barb

I am so excited to introduce you to 'Processing Reflections With Minz And Barb' and to one of the most beautiful people I have ever met, someone so dear and precious to me - Barbara Binns.
Barb, as she is called by many people, is someone whom I have journeyed with for many years. We share the love of I Make a Difference, personal growth, and catching up to share and explore our processing together.
Barb mentioned to me at the end of last year that her daughter had said to her "you and Minz should do a podcast together". These were the spoken words of what I had already been processing and pondering, so action was taken.
'Processing Reflections With Minz And Barb' will now be a regular feature of the I Make a Difference podcast. How regular? Good question. We are going to trust the process and see what unfolds.
Barb and I are going to have our catch-ups and explore and share processing about different aspects of our personal growth, the processes we explore, and the processing we experience.
In this episode, I wanted to ensure that you got to meet and know Barb and a snapshot of how we came to connect and be friends.
If you are wondering who Minz is - that is me (Melinda) it is a nickname I have been called for many decades and it also stands for Made In New Zealand.
You might want to check out the new I Make a Difference Youtube Channel and the video version of this episode which is in the playlist Processing Reflections With Minz And Barb

Tricia Luber ,

Minz is a brilliant light

I’ve had the honor of knowing Minz for a couple years now. Somehow the universe re-connected our souls even though we are on opposite sides of the world. She has taught me so much and helped me pave my path to finding me. I was lost and stuck in this never ending cycle of being a people pleaser and never fully acceptive of the real me. The first time I worked through her program I was barely 5 minutes into it and I cried. I knew I had found what I needed; what my soul needed. Not only am I grateful for the beautiful friendship we have created, I am blessed to have had the opportunity to work on her program and the journey to heal myself. It’s a daily process to heal and continue to heal, but every day I tell myself “I make a difference” and for the first time in many years, I believe I do!! My friend, words cannot express the gratitude I have for you and all you share with the world. You have made a difference in my life! Thank you ♥️🙏🏼
