So much promise

I started with the punk series and thought it was great. The others are just so random and disorganized. The first episode in 90s indie randomly played a Kurt Vile song from 2015. There will be an interview with an artist that will roll into a song by a different artist with no explanation. Same with the Brit Pop series. I don’t know every song and there’s no identification of them. The punk series is easily the best, so hopefully they are figuring it out.
No hate, just a suggestion.

Although the podcast was fun to listen to, I think that you could broaden your audience by discussing some Vocaloid classics. A lot of people enjoy them(including myself), and there are a lot of them that have been lost to time. No hate, just a suggestion.
Maybe good for an overview, but…

I don’t want to come off as a middle-age edgelord, because if even one person discovers punk rock via this podcast the world will be a better place! Having grown up with this music however, I couldn’t make it through the first episode. The narrator gives a quick overview of Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground, making sure to mention John Cale’s importance, then goes straight to the first Stooges album… without mentioning that John Cale produced it. This seems pretty relevant! Then, after praising the MC5 and playing an excerpt from their classic “Kick Out the Jams”, the song is referred to as “Kick UP the Jams”😫. The producers seem to be following a story told many, many times in the last 40-45 years without actually knowing the material. Two stars because, if you aren’t familiar with the genre you may find some good music here.
Best Ever ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
