My name is Justin AKA Demonic Sweaters. In 2015 I started a podcast to talk about the stuff I find interesting and to interview interesting people. I took a long break during the 2020 pandemic, but started up again in early 2024. I've had great luck in getting amazing guests lined up since I've returned! Topics talked about are: Music, art, drums, paranormal, conspiracies, UFOs, self-employment, life struggles, money, health, philosophy, or basically anywhere our conversations wonder.

    Episode 70 - Bryan Shickley (Fred Crisman Historian)

    Bryan Shickley is an animator and expert on the weird world of the mysterious, Fred Crisman. Crisman can be thought of as a real-life "Smoking Man" from the X-Files. His name turns up in official documents discussing everything from UFOs, the JFK assassination, and now even 9/11! He also claimed to have battled a race of creatures who live underground on Earth called, The Deros. Bryan wrote and animated the hilarious and award-winning short film "Fred Crisman: Cave of The Space Nazis!" that you can watch on his YouTube channel for free https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdvZ007W9DY. I highly recommend watching it and subscribing to his channel!

    Episode 69 - Damon Che - Yesness

This episode I am honored to interview one of my favorite drummers of all time, Damon Che Fitzgerald. He has a brand new band called Yesness with an album about to drop and being released by Joyful Noise Recordings https://www.joyfulnoiserecordings.com/, as well as a US tour planned for early 2025.    The unique duo Yesness, formed by Kristian Dunn (El Ten Eleven) and Damon Che (Don Caballero), came together through astute musical matchmaking. Within a year of their first virtual meeting, their nascent project’s debut record, See You at the Solipsist Convention, was complete. Scaffolded around eight-string bass, knotty percussion, and intricate syncopation, See You at the Solipsist Convention is a carnival of delights for fans of the post-everything persuasion—uncategorizable yet reverent to the altar of instrumental rock. Album opener “Not So Sorry Now Are You” begins as a static-drenched funk bop that blossoms into a sweeping epic. Quotes: Damon Che: Aped the double heart throb bass drum pattern from the drummer in my dad’s band I always admired when I was a teenager. I'm glad Kristian put the piano passage in this one. It takes me back to when music was classy without even trying. Kristian Dunn: This is one of the first songs I decided to add a bit of piano to. The part is ridiculously simple but seems to add some gravitas and still leave plenty of room for Damon to do his thing!

    Ralph Emmerich worked as a Transcendental Meditation Instructor for nearly 40 years. He was my personal instructor of the technique in 2014. We had a wonderful talk about TM, as well as society, stress, quantum physics, and all kinds of stuff.
