    Cuties in an Intimate Setting

The guys are back in the living room on the yellow couch! And with a special guest! They are joined by the extremely talented, brilliant, and delightful, Hillary Staple @hkstaple. She is an improvisor, sketch writer/performer, playwright, avid reader, and dog mom. Jordan is alive (we think) in Australia running a marathon, which is a wild statement. They lean into the difference between safety between men and women in the world and in comedy.  Soon they talk about the question of the week. How often do YOU wash your hands after using the restroom because so many people (men and women, per Hillary) are gross with no shame. Questions of the week: (find this poll on the @whosheadlininganyway Insa story)  1.) What percentage of the time do you wash your hands after using the restroom?  A. 99% because I’m not a monster B. 50% because shit happens C. 1% because I want it to end Kids are filthy. That's what they said! The conversation devolves into stories of getting in trouble growing up and how deceitful brothers and sisters are. How did any of us survive? Kevin Nealon is coming to The Comedy Zone over Halloween and Jason is angling for a spot. Of course the conversation eases into movies/TV shows, only watching movie recaps like a crazy person, and all the scary movies. Oh and books. Hillary loves offseason at the beach. Jonathan has an upcoming big trip to Miami. The second segment opens on a conversation about booze and why Jason needs an intervention. It's also crazy that Jonathan is completely unaware of the phenomenon Gem and the Holograms. That naturally takes into the playing music and taking it on stage for comedy. Hillary drops a bomb that she is starting to take guitar lessons tomorrow for personal growth AND because she's writing a jukebox musical. We told you she was talented! What the frick?! You'll have to listen because that is a reference. Is frick ever the right word? Debatable. Nothing cooler than adults starting new hobbies and learning new skills. Hillary is the poster woman for that. She's also a beekeeper for crying out loud.  All three of them are part of a new Sketch Comedy group but they can't say too much about it. There is going to be an unveiling at some point so stay tuned! They are all taking a writing class with the legend, Rich Tallarico. He's brilliant and the class is priceless. They cannot recommend it enough.  They end the show with a Would You Rather. Well, two because the first one...was weird. Would You Rather be despised but unbeknownst to the world what you did was good or be loved but unbeknownst to the world what you did was terrible? It's a moral bender. Enjoy! Stay Housed

The guys are back in the living room on the yellow couch! They jump right into some BIG news. A deal was made that when the Who's Headlining Anyway? YouTube page earned 100 subscribers, Jonathan would again remove his shoes exposing his black socked feet. He did not disappoint. Go check it out.  Questions of the week. 1. How often do you participate in Instagram Polls in Stories? Yes or no?2. Do you sit with your back to the Door? Are you crazy, no. Why are you asking? Yes. Depends on the situation. The guys dig into that second question and shots are fired. One theme of the episode is to support your friends and their businesses online. Likes & Follows are very helpful and cost us very little.  Owner of the San Francisco 49'ers, Jed York, is arrested for participating in a prostitution sting. The idea that such a wealthy person feels the need to do this is a head scratcher to say the least. The fee was also worthy of note and it's obvious none of these guys have participated in this kind of activity.  Next they discuss how the crazy weather is affecting pretty much everything, including the struggles of Gary, Indiana, who were out of power for over a week. They speculate the lack of resources and lower income of the area are the reason the government has been slow to assist them. The recent storms have been stronger than normal. Could be El Niño if they actually knew what that was. They like a thunderstorm. But it drives the conversation to the unhoused community and their poor treatment in most areas.  In the second segment, Jason claims to know Zendaya very well. He's a name dropper but also completely full of it. They chat about a fascinating and oddly named fashion house called Fecal Matters. Is it rage baiting? They meander around the topic to discuss how different the Met Gala and similar events have changed over the years and have a different feel today. Art becomes the bigger conversation with Banksy and Any Warhol. Jason also unintentionally ruins a certain book plot for Jonathan but it has been redacted so he doesn't ruin it for anyone else. Jason is shaken up by almost experiencing a serious crash on his bicycle, which sparks a conversation about near death experiences and foolish decisions they've made in their youth. They each share scenarios in their past that could have been catastrophic including frost bite, jumping from tressels and bridges, foolish driving, drowning, and more. They end on a spicy Would You Rather involving meeting your clone. It doesn't go the way you might think.  And finally, Jordan is heading to Australia to run a marathon! That statement is crazy for so many reasons. Godspeed Jordan!  Follow the Crew: • Jonathan Williams: @mrwilliamscomedy • Jordan Century: @jordancentry • Jason Allen King: @jasonallenking   FOLLOW + SUBSCRIBE Subscribe for full episodes + clips, and follow us on IG for show updates.

    Do You Even Moisturize?

The guys are recommitted to publishing an episode every week. You deserve consistency. The first segment is full. Thanks to the very cool and funny Matt Hammy. Also, there aren't any conspiracy theories. The sock-gate is real. Polls! We have some fun questions and polls that we would love to get your thoughts on. Send us a DM or comment on YouTube and we WILL comment on your answer. Let's get into it! Do YOU moisturize? What are some of the ins and outs of it? Do you take into consideration the heat and/or humidity?  The guys revisit their fun foray into teasing feminism to clarify some truths. They might be good guys. Next they discuss a very strange scenario where a woman makes a post about her boyfriend/husband but uses an AI picture. This can be construed as weird, insulting, nonissue, crazy and everything else. What else could it mean? Probably not good. There is more discussion about surprise parties and unannounced visitors and solicitors, especially religious folks. Things get a little aggressive.Jason might just be cranky. How angry do you get from pop-ins? The convo moves on to commercial manipulation, Yelp, reviews, and more.  The second segment is tame. It is not. First of all, just TWO MORE SUBSCRIBERS will get us to 100 subs and Jonathan will take off his shoes. That's right. Exposed socks. With that in mind, the guys move on to a conversation about #flatEarth and so many ridiculous things about conspiracies. Jordan is ruining his girlfriend's algorithm and it's hysterical. You can't just call them stupid. Somehow the conversation goes philosophical. They discuss the René Descartes for crying out loud. The existence of various realities is probably very normal. Are you still listening? The conversation dives heavy into the movie the Hail Mary Project. Spoiler alert! We talk about the whole movie and we will ruin it. We discuss it by memory and get so much wrong but still. Don't get mad at us. Go see it! They guys then get into a Would You Rather that is especially challenging for various reasons. They would LOVE to get your thoughts on it. DM them or post your answers or thoughts on YouTube. They want to hear what you think! Also, Jordan is going to Australia to run a marathon! How crazy is that? Good luck! Hickey Removal

Back in the living room! Jason Allen King, Jordan Centry, and Jonathan Williams are keeping things spicy this week. Jordan had a bachelor party weekend in Asheville and things got interesting. The conversation dips into hickeys, debauchery, secrets, bad decisions, compromise, relationship challenges, infidelity, and more. Jordan plays his hand perfectly. How do you get rid of a hickey? Makeup? The guys move the conversation into how one comes clean on making mistakes in relationships if at all.  There are car companies with control over your car if you miss payments. Well, maybe. They revisit GTA not providing a tangible product and car repos. Jonathan's car was towed from his own complex to no fault of his own only to learn in North Carolina all registrations will be digital beginning in October.  In the second segment, Jonathan reveals we have a winning bid for his socks. Jason discusses a recent bomb on stage and potentially why it happened. Unpacking that takes an interesting turn. Sometimes it's the smallest detail, tone or word choice that can cause havoc and make you lose the audience. You never blame the audience but also maybe, just maybe, an audience can just want out. NC's Funniest Competition moves on to the Semi Finals. Mike Mello, Raleigh comedian, is brilliant. Check him out.  The guys discuss the seven deadly sins and Jonathan's order of preference. Everyone weighs in. The guys round out the show with a Would You Rather you don't want to miss. Actually two WYR's! We're Talking About Fight Club

All three hosts are officially back in the studio! This week, Jason Allen King joins Jordan Centry and Jonathan Williams to break down viral moments, local comedy scene drama, and the deepest theological questions the internet has to offer. The guys kick off the episode trying to hold Jonathan to his promise of taking his shoes off on camera for a very specific listener. From there, they dive into a recent article published by The Charlotte Observer highlighting five prominent figures in the local Charlotte comedy scene. The guys discuss the inevitable fallout, addressing the "indie scene" comics who felt underrepresented, why tracking down a journalist on Facebook to gripe is a terrible career move, and why any press is a rising tide that lifts all local boats. Later, they talk about a massive milestone for the pod: a genuinely viral moment! Jonathan breaks down the science behind a quick video he posted during the US World Cup match featuring Fight Club stars Brad Pitt and Edward Norton in the crowd. With over 6.3 million views and counting, the guys look behind the curtain at what it’s like to navigate a viral comment section (and why half the people think it’s an anti-LGBTQ post). This naturally leads to Jonathan sharing a hilarious, real-life story about the short-lived, parking-lot "Fight Club" he started as a high school sophomore. Finally, Jordan derails the comedy chatter with a massive theological curveball: Did people born before Christ automatically go to hell? The guys discuss religious constructs, Dante’s Inferno, and a hilarious 60-second freestyle from Jason on which of the seven deadly sins he would hide from his friends to keep them out of purgatory (hint: it's gluttony). Upcoming Shows & Tour Dates: • July 10th: Jason & Jonathan are heading to Copper Fox Distillery in Williamsburg, VA (Jordan is skipped out to see Jay-Z in NY!). Get your tickets on Eventbrite! • Astoria, NY: Jordan is heading up to New York for a special Wednesday showcase!
