    No one is too far gone for the grace of God. In Daniel 4, King Nebuchadnezzar had power, influence, success, and a heart filled with pride. God humbled him, not simply to tear him down, but to bring him back to Himself. This week, we look at the lie of pride, the necessity of humility, and the scandalous grace of God. The same God who transformed Nebuchadnezzar is still making dead people alive today. Who have you stopped praying for? Who have you decided could never change?     What happens when God is able to deliver you... but He doesn’t? In Daniel 3, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego are given a choice: bow to the idol or face the fire. Their response reveals the kind of faith that doesn’t depend on circumstances: God is able. God can deliver. But even if He doesn’t, He is still worthy of our worship. This week, we look at the anxiety of idolatry, the peace of surrender, and the presence of God in the middle of the fire.     What do you do when the situation in front of you feels impossible? In Daniel 2, Daniel faces a king who has made an impossible demand with deadly consequences. But instead of responding with fear, Daniel responds with wisdom, boldness, community, prayer, and trust in God. The same God who was sovereign in Babylon is sovereign today. When life feels uncertain, we don't have to be controlled by fear, culture, circumstances, or our own understanding.     What happens to your faith when life gets difficult? Daniel was taken from his home, placed in a culture that wanted to reshape his identity, and pressured to compromise his convictions. Yet Daniel didn’t escape Babylon, and he didn’t merely survive it. With God’s help, he thrived in it. In Daniel 1, we see three truths for following Jesus when life gets hard: difficulty doesn’t negate God’s sovereignty, difficulty doesn’t determine your identity, and difficulty doesn’t demand hostility. Whatever you’re facing, God is still working. You can live with conviction and kindness, trusting that your identity is secure in Him.
