Wooden Overcoats

I’m a fiction buff, and a lover of comedy, and really, really struggle to find interesting shows. This was brilliantly done. The only issue is that it was done too soon. If you follow the show and aren’t broken by the season finale of season three, I honestly believe there may be something missing inside you. Absolutely incredible work by the writers and Ms. Baxendale. Truly my favorite all time podcast.

it’s hilarious and I can listen to this show over and over again without it getting old. I love the sibling dynamic between Rudyard and Antigone. Eric Chapman is the most naive person to Rudyard’s hatred and Antigone’s love. Its so sad that Antigone finally stopped pining over Eric and Eric started to love Antigone. I really want just another season or at least another episode just to see what happens.

I came late to this but it is just so exquisitely done. I didn’t know podcasts could do this. It’s like the best old time radio dramas but with real depth of character and story. The bar has been raised.

I’ve listened to 100+ podcasts at this point and this one in is my top 5. Very quirky, endearing set of characters with unique personalities. I am currently listening to the last episode and I will genuinely miss it once it ends. This show does such a good job of balancing comedy and romance with serious subject matter such as death. This is the only podcast that actually made me tear up, because some of the episodes are just so darn sweet. I know that good shows like this can’t last forever, but it will be hard to find another one that has impacted me as much as this one has. 10/10.
