How To Truly Honor God With our Finances Part 1

Most people see tiding as a touchy subject believing that only money hungry pastors teach tiding when in reality giving not only to the church but to those God lead us to is a Kingdom principle. Just like we can't expect to be forgiven unless we forgive others Luke 6:38 tells us that we are to give in order to receive because another Kingdom Principle is that we can only reap what we sow. Those who sow sparingly will only reap sparingly (2 Cor 9:6). In Malachi 3:10-11 God tells us to bring our tithes or offering into his storehouse referring to you local church in order that there would be provision for the need of the church and to help others who are in need. He goes on to tells us to put him to the test adding that our giving from a genuine heart will cause him to open a window of blessing in our lives not only to bless us but so that we can also be a blessing to many more. God adds that our giving will also cause him to rebuke the devour from interacting with us from destroying what is in our storehouse referring to our provision for our needs and the needs of our family. Our giving to God must be an act of love, honor and obedience toward him and are we are not to give fearing loss when we give we must give by faith knowing that will always take care of his children. In Mat 6:19-24 Jesus tells us to lay our treasures in heaven and not in the earth it can be stolen and taken away from us, our giving to God should not be determined by our fear of going without or buy our lust to accumulate money because we can't love or serve two masters. Your heart can only belong to God if you truly trust in him and chose to put him before anything else.

The Hidden War For Human Souls - How People Are Ignoring The Gospel

Eph 1:4-5 tells us that before the foundation of the world God had already decided that he would redeem mankind though his only Son Jesus. He made that decision because he knew that eventually mankind would fall into sin and would need to be redeemed. John 3:16 tells us that he also made this choice because of his great love for mankind and also tells us that redemption is available to everyone who seek for it by accepting the great gift he gave us. Jesus was sent by God to become the mediator between us and God in order to establish a new covenant between mankind and himself, a new covenant built on better promises. One of these promises is the indwelling of God's Holy Spirit as a guide to wholeness, to intimacy with God. Jesus referred to the Holy Spirit as a river of living water that will refresh us and as a guide who will guide us in the path of righteousness. Those who receive Jesus as saviour are transferred from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light and are reunited with God. Sadly many refuse God gift because the love darkness more then light, the embrace evil over righteousness thinking that God seek to control us but the truth is that seeks intimacy with us and this is only possible if we seek holiness. Heb 14:12 tells us that without holiness no man can see meaning interact or have intimacy with God not because he refuses but because he is light and in him there is no darkness at all. God gives us the power of choice or free will he offers us life, intimacy with him here on earth and eternal life with him through Jesus but you have the power to refuse and chose to spend eternity separated from him, it is your choice not his. His love and gift of salvation is always available while we are alive, once we die then comes the judgement where our eternity will be decided base on the choices we have made while we were alive.

The Five Crowns Jesus Will Give To Those Who Followed And Serve Him

There are benefits to living a godly life, the bible speaks of five different crowns that are available to anyone who devote their lives to Jesus and God. These crowns are given base on the work you do but on who you did the work for. Many do works in order to elevate self to be in the limelight but the works that will be rewarded are the works that were done to exalt Jesus and God, works that put them in the limelight and not us. There is a crown for faithfulness for those who endure trails and temptation who don't give up and return to the world when times are hard. Secondly there is a crown of righteousness given for those who has prepared themselves for his return doing their best to be perfect, to live a holy life to the best of their ability and repented when they failed asking God to cleansed them from their unrighteousness. The third crown is called the crown of glory that will be given to those were called to Shepperd or minister to God peoples and have done everything the can to lead their sheep's down the right path. The next crown referred to as the imperishable crown will be given to those who have run their race or live their life with discipline according to the word of God doing their best to be a true reelection of Jesus they can be, those who truly deserve the name or title of being Christ like or a Christian. The fifth and final crown is the crown of rejoicing given to all who will be taken at the rapture, some refers to this crown as the soul winning crown given to those who have continued the work that Jesus had started and were found worthy to part of the rapture.

Born to Reign - Using Our God Given Authority Part 2

God has given his church, true believers the authority to stand against the forces of darkness, the church is not called to speak about the problem but to speak to the problem in order to create change. Our fight is not against flesh and blood but against rulers of darkness who seek to devour those who will let themselves be devoured. Many don't believe in God or in hell but the reality is that once we die we will enter a spiritual world where we will either spend eternity with God or apart from him in hell. While we are on earth Jesus tells us that as true believer we are given power to come against the forces of darkness at work in this world. We fight these force with the authority God has given us through prayer as intercessors. Prov 18:21 tells us that death and life is in the power of the tongue, what we confess and what we pray will become part of our reality. Not only can we pray and confess blessing and cursing's in our live but in the live of others so we have to be carful paying attention to the things we confess. As children of God we are called to overcome evil with good and we do so with the authority God has given us to come against the forces of darkness. As believers we must see ourselves in a different light, 1 Pet 2:9 tells us that we are a chosen race, a holy nation, a royal priest hood called to represent Jesus and to continue the work he has started when he came to earth. We must realize the authority we have received in Christ and that we are called to use this power in order to continue Jesus work.

Born to Reign - Using Our God Given Authority Part 1

Jesus mission was to come to earth and become the mediator between mankind and God in order to reconcile us with God. By becoming one with Jesus through salvation and through obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit we are reconciled with God as his children and are given the power and authority of the name of Jesus at our disposal. 1 Pet 9-10 tells us that becoming sons and daughters of God elevates us, we are a holy nation a royal priesthood called out of darkness to live in his marvelous light. Salvation provides grace empowerment to live a holy life that reflects the nature of God and equips us with the power, with authority to change our lives and the world around us. As true believers, as lights in this world we carry the authority of Jesus name in us and through prayer and faith we hold back the forces of darkness from taking over this world. Life and death, light and darkness is in the power of the tongue we have the power through prayer and confession we have been given the power to bind and loose to stop the power of darkness who are at work to hinder the work of God. We are called to be ambassadors for Jesus, call to continue the work he started and intersession through prayer is a big part of the work we are called to do. We are to come to God in prayer knowing the authority that has been given to us through salvation standing in the gap for those around us. We are called to speak to mountains to come against impossible problems through prayer and change situation not only in our lives but in the lives of others. This power and authority comes to us through the baptism of the Holy Spirit who equips us to accomplish the works God has called us to do in this world.
