    What happens when a king surrounds himself with people who tell him exactly what he wants to hear? In 1 Kings 22, King Ahab faces a choice between comfortable lies and the uncomfortable truth of God’s word and his decision sets the course for his final battle. In this chapter: Jeremy Gimpel and Ari Abramowitz explore the opening of 1 Kings Chapter 22, the final chapter of the Book of 1 Kings. Ahab and Yehoshafat prepare for war against Aram at Ramot-Gilead. Yehoshafat insists that they “inquire… of the word of the LORD” before going into battle.
