As a mom in the midst of little years, I don’t have enough time (or don’t often make the time) to contemplate and ruminate on thoughts and ideas. I’ve been so thankful to be one of the beneficiaries of Laura and Emily’s wisdom and advice as they are avid readers; clear and concise speakers; and hilarious, honest, and genuine moms. I’m so thankful for their influence in my life as a mom over the past 7 years as I’ve listened to them in my earbuds while doing dishes, going for walks, waiting in the car rider line at school, and any other free time I had. This has been my all time favorite podcast.
I’ve felt like I’ve gotten to sit in on amazing conversations between close friends who pack in so much truth with understanding, intention, and right perspective. Their humor, their sincerity, their honesty, and all of their content has greatly enriched my life. No matter where I’ve moved around to over the past years, I always had RM available to guide me, encourage me, and help build my faith. I’m so thankful I got to be a mom in a time where I had access to this great resource. This ministry has been such an amazing blessing!
Although I’m sad to see them go, I respect and admire their decision to move on with their next chapter in life as their children enter the preteen and teenage years. And I feel so blessed to have had their influence about rest, taking breaks, and saying no to good things to say yes to the best things- which include my inner circle people- my husband and kiddos being #1.
Thank you Emily and Laura and the Risen Motherhood team- it’s been so nice being a spectator of your ministry- you all are gems and I wish you and your families the best!
