So weird
You guys are so funny. I love the books you guys read have increased my to be read list. Thank you!
Keep trying to like it
I’ve listened to this podcast off and on for almost 4 years.. and it continues to disappoint me. The banter is really uninteresting. I fast forward most of it trying to find good content to listen to. I keep coming back to see if it’s improved because I feel like I like the hosts as people most of the time and when they wholeheartedly love a book (like Ishiguro) the podcasts are so great. But most of the time they seem to criticize books and it’s just frustrating to listen to. They rarely second guess their criticisms, try to check each other’s critiques and often I feel like they misjudge and just REALLY didn’t understand the book. Or have a bizarre standard by which all books should fall into some predictable redemption arch or something. Not sure. Just here to say, I’ve really REALLY given you guys lots of second chances and every time I see you’ve done and episode on a book I like I come to listen and am disappointed because it felt like a big waste of time. I hope you improve.
Guys really know how to read
Love love love this podcast! It's making me a better reader.
Update: Too much wittering. Maybe focus on fewer projects.
