    Happy Monday beautiful people!!! Conversations with Friends Episode 36 is a conversation with a new friend, Elizabeth Joseph from Phoenix AZ. Elizabeth and I met a few weeks ago at a local networking event where I read a live poem with a local dancer. It was an instant realization, we gotta be friends! Elizabeth has been doing major plant and healing work in the valley for the last decade and is hosting the 2nd annual Melanin Mom's Expo this November 2nd in Phoenix Arizona! Today we sit and chat a little background information about Elizabeth and how she found herself on this community healing path.  Tune in to hear this inspired mama and I discuss how she found her path to veganism and wholistic healing, what the Melanin Mom Expo is all about and why it is needed especially in the Phoenix Valley.     Happy Wednesday family!!! Conversations with Friends episode 35 is a conversation with a super long time friend, Gina Marsh. Gina and I met in elementary school in San Diego and have been reconnected online for the last few years. Today we go back in time a bit and discuss where and when we met. Gina and I were in the same 2nd grade class together at Wegeforth elementary in Serra Mesa! (Shouting out our hometown family!!!) It's amazing how far apart friends can grow and yet remain on such a similar path.  Gina is also a stay at home mom dedicated to providing the most natural upbringing for her son. Her family is vegan and we discuss vegan pregnancy and how she stayed healthy and strong while pregnant. Her son had some diet related issues early on and once she decided to take out gluten, everything changed. If you have a highly sensitive child, you definitely want to listen to this episode! We talk about food allergies and how they affect behavior AND how quickly these things can be reversed when we stay committed to making the necessary lifestyle and dietary changes. Gina is also training to be a Cosmic Kids yoga instructor! In segment 2 we tune into her yogi practice and learn more about what Cosmic Kids yoga is all about.     Happy Monday!!! Conversations with Friends episode 34 is a conversation with my friend and sistren Teurai Chanakira. Teurai is sharing her voice with us today all the way from Melbourne Australia! This is our 1st international podcast and we are so excited to be moving across the oceans!!! Teurai and I met some years ago through her sister, Eden, a previous guest on the show and a local, personal friend. This was our first time speaking together and it was really awesome to get some one on one time with a verified distant family member. A few years ago, Teurai decided to follow her heart and leave her law profession to pursue her passion; helping others live a healthier life. She works with her clients in person, on cruise ships (travelling to 72 countries doing it too!) and online. She is dedicated to supporting her sphere as they find the ways to stay active, eat well and create the lifestyle they most desire. The work my friends are here to do is trailblazing new pathways for the healer in us all. I am honored to be here with them now and to have a platform to share what they do... Charlmayne is working hard to bring healing to herself, her family and her community! Charlmayne recently published her new book, Hey Little Black Girl: For the Unhealed Little Black Girl in You and is now sharing her story with the world. This mama of 4 is no stranger to the hard knocks of life and is using her own past to move forward and inspire a generation of women to know that we can all grow from just about any foundation and still enjoy life.
