The Lazy Genius Podcast

I am in the midst of episode 406 Big Sister Pep Talk, and when she said “this is why everything turns into a side hustle so fast…” I was so relieved. I’m so glad to hear Kendra (and some other reasonable and supportive content creators) encourage us to just have hobbies without making it make money for us. Every time I listen to this podcast, I just relax a little bit. I feel a little better about my choices and priorities and I not only look at others with kindness, but I look at others and their choices less. I compare less. I judge less. It’s improved my attitude immeasurably.

Hello! I found this podcast just yesterday, and so far have only listened to episode 403. I was absolutely astounded by the things that Kendra’s family and mine have in common. She has a really nice voice, and you can really tell she knows what she’s talking about. Can’t wait to go through all your podcasts!! Thank you so much.

I wish I could do half stars, because the show is better than 4, but I have some issues that keep it from five. But when in doubt, round up. I love Kendra’s voice. She’s kind and down to earth and it feels like she sees me, or people like me, and that’s powerful. Her advice is relevant, and she feels like I’m talking to a friend. There’s the 4.5 stars. When it comes up, however, her talk about her faith is triggering, as someone who grew up indoctrinated by a very questionable organized religion. The road back has been hard, especially as more atrocities come to light every few years. You may be saying, It’s her show, she can talk about what she wants to! It’s her faith and part of her, why should she hide that? It’s no harm to anyone! My answer is absolute agreement. That doesn’t mean that when it comes up, I don’t get very tense, and have to stop what I’m doing to breathe. When it comes up, there is *a little bit* of harm done. Ultimately, that’s my problem. The rest of the show is 5 stars. Thank you for what you’re producing, Lazy Genius team. It does a lot of good.
