    The Old Guard 2 Review: Netflix Made a 100-Minute Trailer

    Welcome to the Poddy makes it to a second consecutive week as Clay reviews Netflix’s The Old Guard 2. The first film had genuine franchise potential. The sequel gives us Charlize Theron, Uma Thurman, immortal warriors and centuries of revenge—then makes it feel like a 100-minute trailer for another movie. Clay also opens two sold-out James McCann shows, takes over an unattended bar, pays $39 for parking, gets out-negotiated over a fine, forgets seven minutes of material onstage and discovers that Japan has somehow become the podcast’s biggest audience. Final rating: 3 immortal mullets out of 10.
