Community is a Gift

Christian community is a gift. In Acts 2, Luke describes a church made up of people who did not naturally choose one another, yet were gathered together by Jesus. They devoted themselves to God's Word, fellowship, prayer, the breaking of bread, and a shared life that extended beyond the walls of worship. This message explores three dimensions of life together: the people Christ gives us, the gifts Christ gathers us around, and the life Christ teaches us to share. Rather than treating church as something to evaluate, customize, or consume, what would it look like to receive Christian community as an act of God's grace?

The Inheritance That Changes Everything

What Matters Most

Who are you when everything you’ve built your identity around is gone? We often answer the question, “Who are you?” by talking about what we do. Our jobs, achievements, family roles, reputation, or success can quietly become the foundation of our identity. In Philippians 3, the Apostle Paul tells a very different story. After listing every reason he could have confidence in himself, he declares that knowing Christ is worth more than all of it. The Mindset of Christ

What does true greatness look like? Our world often celebrates power, achievement, recognition, and success. But in Philippians 2, Paul points us to a completely different vision of greatness through the life of Jesus Christ. Though equal with God, Jesus chose the path of humility. What defines your life? Most of us build our identity around accomplishments, relationships, success, security, or reputation. But what happens when those things are threatened or taken away? In Philippians 1:12–26, the apostle Paul writes from prison and offers a radically different perspective. His circumstances are difficult. His future is uncertain. His reputation is under attack.
