The wait is over: the Miami Dolphins have their first win of the season, holding off the New York Jets 28–25 at MetLife Stadium. Miami came out firing, scoring touchdowns on three of its first four drives and taking a 21–7 lead into halftime. Malik Willis looked more decisive, accounted for three touchdowns, and delivered the biggest throw of the afternoon—a 63-yard touchdown strike to Caleb Douglas, who finished with two touchdown catches. The Jets rallied in the second half behind Geno Smith, Omar Cooper Jr., and Mason Taylor, whose touchdown and two-point conversion made it a one-score game late. But this time, Miami finished. The Dolphins converted a crucial fourth down, Willis powered through a quarterback sneak at midfield, and the offense ran out the clock for the first victory of the year. GRIES, Kyle Crabbs, and Z break down the fast start, Bobby Slowik’s play-calling, Ollie Gordon and the offensive line, Willis and Douglas, Michael Taaffe’s interception, the defensive communication issues, the costly third-down sack, and what this win means before the Patriots come to Miami. #MiamiDolphins #FinsUp #Dolphins #NYJets #MalikWillis #CalebDouglas #NFL Side-of-Screen Rundown \*\*\*\*\* 'LIVE' Miami Dolphins Commentary + Analysis from Miami Dolphins Defensive Tackle Jeff “Z” Zgonina, Locked On Dolphins' Kyle Crabbs and Host Jim “GRIES” Grieshaber.
