Introducing The Psychology Behind Why You're Still Broke | George Kamel from The School of Greatness. Follow the show: The School of Greatness You can earn half a million dollars a year and still have nothing left by the end of the month. That's not a theory. A Goldman Sachs study found 40% of people making over $500,000 are living paycheck to paycheck. The income isn't the problem. The identity is. George Kamel, #1 national bestselling author of Breaking Free from Broke and co-host of The Ramsey Show, has taken thousands of calls from people who earned great money and lost it all. People who confused looking rich with building wealth. Couples who kept separate bank accounts right up until the marriage fell apart. His take: debt is never just a math problem. It's a behavior problem. And no budget in the world sticks until you decide what kind of person you're going to be with money. In this conversation, George breaks down why buy now pay later apps are engineered to increase your cart size by 40%, why prediction markets like Polymarket are doing to young men what gambling apps did to the last generation, and why the moment someone calls a financial decision an "opportunity," they've usually already started justifying a terrible one. The path to financial peace is simpler than you've been told. And it starts with creating friction, not removing it. Ep. - 1625 - SATURDAY SERIES: THE GHOST IN THE ROOM

Everyone has a ghost story. Maybe it's the door that closed by itself, the cold spot in the corner of the room, or just that feeling you can't quite shake. In this episode, Kate sits down with her close friend and medium Jonathan Mark — who works with both grieving families and law enforcement on unsolved cases, to talk about some of the places that have stayed with her.     From a college dormitory in central Pennsylvania with a notoriously haunted closet, to her mother's childhood home on the Main Line, to a house in Paoli where a four-year-old girl delivered a message no one could explain, to the West Chester home where she grew up. Jonathan looks at photos, shares his impressions, and opens up about what he believes is really happening when the living feel the presence of the dead.        Reality Life with Kate Casey  What to Watch List: https://katecasey.substack.com  The Story Behind My Podcast: https://katecasey.substack.com/p/i-was-the-narrator-of-my-own-family  Patreon: http://www.patreon.com/katecasey  Twitter: https://twitter.com/katecasey  Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/katecaseyca  Tik Tok: https://www.tiktok.com/@itskatecasey?lang=en  Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/113157919338245  Amazon List: https://www.amazon.com/shop/katecasey  Like it to Know It: https://www.shopltk.com/explore/katecasey See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep. - 1624 - INSIDE NETFLIX’S RAFA – WITH THE DIRECTOR OF THE RAFAEL NADAL DOCUMENTARY SERIES

Zach Heinzerling, the Emmy-winning, Oscar-nominated director behind Netflix's new four-part documentary series Rafa. The series follows Rafael Nadal across the final year of his career, from his 2024 return through his retirement, while reaching back across two decades to tell the fuller story of one of the most decorated and most physically punished athletes in the history of tennis. The series goes beyond the 22 Grand Slams and 14 French Open titles to reveal what it cost to win them: a rare, incurable foot condition called Müller-Weiss syndrome, diagnosed when Rafa was just nineteen; years of aggressive medical intervention that left him with perforated intestines; and a 2022 Roland Garros run played on a foot deadened by nerve-blocking injections. For the first time on camera, Rafa removes his sock and shows the foot itself — an image he had guarded from the public for twenty years.     The series also explores the formative role of his uncle and longtime coach Toni Nadal, whose tough-love methods shaped Rafa from the age of three; the anxiety and ritual beneath the on-court persona; and the rivalries with Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic that defined a generation, including the now-famous Laver Cup farewell where Rafa and Federer sat side by side and wept.     Featuring testimony from Federer, Djokovic, John McEnroe, and the family, coaches, and inner circle who have stood beside Nadal his entire career, Rafa is less a highlight reel than a portrait of a champion in negotiation with his own body — and an answer, or an attempt at one, to the question of why he kept playing long after that body told him to stop.
