A Horror Movie Podcast for Horror Movie Fans

There are so many movie podcasts out there. This one stands out from the crowd, though. The hosts absolutely know their stuff, and the insights and critiques they bring are great. The premise is simple: The hosts watch a random horror film from one of the major streaming platforms, then talk about it. Their humor is sharp and always punches up, and the rapport they have with each other is great. If you're a horror fan of any stripe, you owe it to yourself to give this a listen.

Thanks Wes Craven

I adore horror movies but I hate watching them and getting spooked at night, so this podcast is a godsend. It really feels like a conversation I would have with my friends, yet also doesn’t shy away from the implications and undertones that make horror such an interesting genre. Also, I just love the music and outros, especially the ever-changing Wes Craven homage; there are honestly some professionally-made podcasts that sound clunky and forced when compared to this. My only gripe would be for Liz and Evan could recap the movies a little more thoroughly since I usually don’t watch the movies they review (unless they’re really good). Other than that, I always look forward to seeing it in my feed, they’re really doing god’s work

This Scaredy Cat Loves It

Do you, like me, love researching horror movies but hate watching them (because of the gore/violence/general tension)? Then this podcast is perfect for you!

I look forward to Tuesdays knowing I can relax and let the witty banter of Evan and Liz transport me to the world of whatever film they're reviewing that week (that I don't have to actually see or be scared by). Their reviews are not only humorous but thoughtful and intelligent; I highly recommend that any movie buff or horror afficionado (or anyone looking for 30-60 minutes of escapism) add this to their weekly podcast lineup.
