Great supplement for players and DMs

I have learned so much about dnd lore from this show. It’s great they cover lore from multiple editions which really helps me understand the big picture. Also the episode lengths are good.

Excellent Primer to DnD Lore

I just got into DnD a couple of years ago as DM and the lore was overwhelming so I was looking into podcasts and found this one. There’s so much cool history and it’s genuinely fun at the same time. I really enjoy learning about the other editions and getting different ideas about character builds and monster tweaks. The only thing that could make this podcast better is a spoiler warning for the million references that they manage to scrape up to compare the current topic to a ton of modern references. Especially if you haven’t finished the first CritRole. I know now to immediately skip forward in those cases but it’s still worth it for the fun knowledge delivery.

Awesome podcast for D&D lore

I started playing D&D recently, but don’t have background with fantasy other than LOTR. I have learned so much from this podcast about all things D&D lore which is so helpful! Each time we play the next session I feel like I’m getting better and better just by understanding the universe better. I love that Brian and Will take it back to LOTR often which helps with visualizing characters. Thanks for the great podcast guys!!
