The Inner Cities Podcast

Your discussion of the April 2025 release of the film “Sinners," written by African-American director Ryan Coogler and his wife, Zinzi Evans, was the best I’ve heard on any platform. You addressed the art, the plot, your personal stories, your global perspective and the business of USA filmmaking. An added bonus is that you didn’t say the N word anytime during this episode :-).

One of those podcasts I hit "play" on as soon as it drops for the week. Keeps me informed and brings insight to issues that need to be discussed and heard.

Besides the fact that I am entertained and am excited every time I see it has downloaded, it performs a service for me. Inner Cities is the place where this privileged white man has no choice but to be quiet, listen, and hope to understand.

As a liberal, I love their perspective. As an educated person I love their well thought out insights. As a white guy, I'm educated by their perspectives on race. And as a human being, I love their humor and fundamental decency. One of the best pods out there.
