    Sasquatch Are Drawn to Him - Bigfoot Eyewitness Episode 559

    Tonight’s guest, Arthur Wach, had his first Sasquatch sighting in 1977, when he was 13 years old. He was fishing on the Platte River near Gothenburg, Nebraska, with his dad and brother. Arthur’s dad was about 50 feet down the bank from him, and his brother was about 50 feet beyond their dad. They had been fishing for a while when Arthur suddenly sensed someone or something walking behind him. At first, he thought it was his dad, because when he looked down the bank, his dad was no longer there. Arthur grabbed his fishing pole and tackle box and headed down a trail through the brush toward the spot where his dad had been fishing. As he followed the trail, Arthur looked for his dad’s tracks. Instead, he found a series of large, bare footprints leading to the water’s edge. He had no idea what could have left them. When he reached the last print, he lifted his gaze and saw what had made them. That sighting was only the first of many Sasquatch-related experiences Arthur has had over the years.     Tonight’s guest, Melanie, lives across the road from Croatan National Forest in North Carolina. One night, while walking her dog, she saw a mother mountain lion cross the road in front of her. That piqued her interest because she didn’t know mountain lions were in the area. The next day, she went out to look for tracks. Instead of finding mountain lion prints, however, she found tracks she believed had been left by something she never would have expected to find nearby—a Sasquatch. Not long afterward, Melanie was walking her dog in Croatan National Forest when she found another set of Sasquatch prints. This time, they appeared to have been left by a juvenile. Melanie had believed in the existence of Sasquatch since 1972, when she first watched The Legend of Boggy Creek, but she never imagined they might be living near her property. Now, she was convinced they were, and the reality of that was about to hit her hard—especially one night when, while watching TV in her bedroom, she heard what she believed was a Sasquatch coming up the stairs inside her house! Over the years, the two of them have had numerous Sasquatch encounters. Neither of them was convinced that Sasquatch were out there until they had their first encounter. Angel and Jeremy had their first sighting in 1999, at Chickasaw National Recreation Area, in Sulphur, Oklahoma. At the time, they were with a group of 10 friends. They had all decided to go night swimming at Little Niagara Falls, and their group was the only one there. After spending some time swimming, a storm started to blow in, so they packed up and headed to the main parking lot, near the restrooms. After making it to the parking lot, they suddenly noticed a figure standing near the restrooms, under one of the lights. They yelled at the figure, and when they did, it ran off. As they watched it run away into the deep woods. When it did that, they noticed several unusual things about it that told them what they had just seen. Little did Angel and Jeremy know, that would be just the first of many Sasquatch sightings and encounters they would have in the years to come.
