I discovered this podcast by chance when at Allen’s pub a few weeks ago. I said something about a history podcast I listen to, and the bartender said that Allen has a podcast, and told me what it was. I started listening the next morning, and have been working through the backlog since.
I’m a history buff, and a big fan of booze, not just the drinking part, but also how it’s made. This show is perfect!

Allen gives a great voice to history and how much alcohol played a part in the human culture. One of my favorites was on the whiskey rebellion but not to be out done be the Arthur Guiness story. Give it a try and you will be hooked

Since the first episode, Hishtory has been on my must-listen list of podcasts. Whether tippler or teetotaler, Hishtory is fantastically entertaining with its conversational pace and accessible content. Thank you Allen for these well researched explorations into the world of drink.
