Late to the party but enjoying the back catalog!

I subscribed to The Babylon Podcast, Slice of SciFi, and Writers, After Dark recently after a great friend mentioned them to me. Wow, did I miss out, but I am super grateful to Summer and the supporters of Slice of SciFi for making the back catalog available! Summer and collaborators have produced a huge catalog of awesome author, cast, staff, and other interviews, along with their insightful commentary, on a vast variety of subjects. Babylon 5 fans are very well served, of course, but I am blown away by Summer’s explorations with her podcast collaborators and guests in other shows, books, and authors! Highly recommend! Check out the back catalog of many, many hours of some of the best interviews I have heard!

I’m not going to vouch for the production quality, as it has always had some difficult moments. I will vouch for their thoroughness and guest interviews! Wow! Thank you Summer and Tim (and Jeffrey) for keeping the flame lit! This has been one of my favorite podcasts for a long time!

Finding this podcast, after too long a time feeling lonely as a B5 fan, was just what I needed. Based on the first several episodes, I feel that all podcasts should aspire to be more like this one. It’s great to listen to fans having fun obsessing over what they love and not mainly or mostly promoting themselves or their other podcasts. Thanks to the people who make this for creating an ideal fan-made show about their love of an amazing science fiction series and not just a show about members of a fandom in love with the idea of being part of a fandom.
