    The One With A Bloody Eye

    October 14th – Show 1141 The Chat T discussed experiencing a sudden and severe eye condition that affected her vision, leading her to seek medical attention. She showed us her bloody eye and plans on visiting the local optometrist the following day to further assess the issue. She did, however, have a successful market day which was nice. Beth’s had an unusual week where she forgot what day it was and missed appointments, including a chat and showing up for Retro Lounge. And, I am still job searching… and building a custom rack for organizing hard drives, which involved 3D printing components that took about 12 hours each to complete. I also tell you about a weird earworm which combines Ghost Riders in the Sky and A Good Heart by Feargal Sharkey…all inspired by a humorous BaearSkin Man advertisement on YouTube .   Emergency Questions: Can you urinate in front of another person? Would you be willing to have horrible nightmares every night for a year if you would be rewarded with extraordinary wealth?     October 7th – Show 1140 The Chat Lee joined us this episode and shared updates about his work in caravan sales, including extensive travel for training, while Beth told us she’d been dealing with a serious malware incident on her websites that required cleaning up 2.5 million files used for Bitcoin mining. T discussed the winding down of market season affecting her income and shared concerns about her daughter’s family facing financial difficulties due to unpaid contractor fees.  I mentioned I need to attend a job centre interview tomorrow but I’m prepared, with an AI-powered job tracker that logs applications and maintains records of his search activities. I was also disappointed by a recent job interview where I was rejected due to lacking current security clearance, despite having it previously while working at Experian. Emergency Questions: At what age does a person become “elderly”? If you went to a beach and it turned out to be a nudist beach, would you stay and go swimming nude? If you decided to do something and your friends strongly advised you not to, would you do it anyway?

    The One With A Lost Phone

    September 16th – Show 1137 The Chat I shared my experience of losing my phone in Blackpool and later recovering it from an arcade, noting that lost iPhones are now less valuable due to security features. I also showed you my new ESP32 module project that visualizes network devices as fish in an aquarium, and showed a touchscreen device with scenes for Twitch streaming. I am also planning to create an e-ink calendar for the fridge that will display events from a shared Apple calendar. Beth discussed the challenges of managing creating so many things for the market she is doing this weekend, expressing concerns about its sustainability and the need for better planning ahead. T shared updates about creating personalized felt figures for two girls, including customizing names and colors based on their preferences. T also discussed spending 8.5 hours attempting to fix a laptop but was unsuccessful despite following ChatGPT instructions.
