This used to be basically the perfect podcast. Shout out to my Gateway Gal, Jessy Majors, for hooking up with these people for a pretty good five-year run. I love the blue humor, and the rapport these three had with each other was infectious.
Definitely listen to the first 200 episodes or so, they are legit, and all of the live episodes are great as well.
Kenyon got stupid and had to be done away with, but now the show sucks. Amanda doesn't even try to deliver any meaningful content. I'm still in love with Lucy Fitzgerald, but this podcast is just a half assed downer now. I don't remember the last time they said the word wine. They preach political and social views to a sympathetic audience that already knows this stuff and agrees with them. It's not funny anymore, it's just a lazy slapdash downer.
Amanda still does a great job on Passages, I don't know why she can be a completely different person over there who is actually listenable, but can't get it together for her main thing. Go subscribe to Passages, it's amazing. Wine and Crime will be gone a year from now. It's already dead. They might be able to save it if they add Blortney as a third person, the dynamic between these two is just not it, they don't have it without Kenyon.
