We got a postal whistleblower screaming "catastrophic failure" about mail voting right before the midterms — cool cool cool, love that for us. We got Commerce quietly deleting the words "no political interference" from its own science policy, like removing the smoke detector because you're planning a fire. We're calling airstrikes on Iran "large and powerful" like it's a wrestling entrance, and somehow that same war is now jacking up the price of money worldwide — we didn't even know war had a war tax on top of the war. Then there's Gregory Bovino, tiniest racist to ever run Border Patrol, who apparently retired mid-investigation like he had somewhere better to be. Measles killed two people in Pennsylvania and the CDC just... didn't count them? Umm, do they know that doesn't like, un-die people? Meanwhile the Supreme Court said sure, Trump, go 'head and build your ballroom, and the man himself is out here telling whole towns they'll be "backwards and poor" if they don't bow down to data centers. They're saying far-right provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos has "overstayed his welcome," and we are cackling, because that might be the first accurate sentence uttered under this administration. Meanwhile, we're once again reminding everybody that there are exactly zero trans women in the WNBA — which hasn't stopped right-wing media from inventing some out of thin air, because facts have never gotten in the way of a good bigotry campaign. And speaking of bigotry, we're talking about a trans veteran who served her country and got rewarded with homelessness after the military just... didn't pay her severance. Cool, cool, very patriotic. And then there's Florida, where a grand jury found that Governor Ron DeSantis's administration "misappropriated" $10 million in taxpayer money for political purposes — but somehow couldn't figure out who exactly did it well enough to press charges. Mmmm hmmm. Sure. Nobody did it. It just happened. Ten million dollars grew legs and walked into the Republican party of Florida, all by itself. First — our hearts are with Nepal, where at least 358 people are confirmed dead and over 1,300 are still missing after catastrophic flash floods along the Tibet border.  We've got a California man who apparently thought "guillotine in the truck bed" was a reasonable accessory for a drive near the U.S. Capitol. We're breaking down what we know and asking the obvious question: sir, what was the plan? Then it's a full Trump buffet — he's siccing MAGA Inc. on the midterms with ads bragging about tax breaks and a "sealed" border, he's declaring "big victory" in a war with Iran that he says will "continue for as long as necessary" (so... not a victory, then?), and — we are not kidding — he's threatening to rename Lake Ontario "Lake America." We give this segment the energy it deserves. We're also toasting a federal judge who struck down Texas's drag show ban and somehow made it a Dolly Parton tribute in the process — Dolly, we love you, keep protecting us from the courthouse. Meta's cutting an $18 billion check to 48 states for allegedly hooking kids on purpose, the EPA wants to stop telling the public about pollution permits near data centers (cool, cool, very normal), and we close it out with the story that should be leading every newscast: a Navy sailor's apparent suicide attempt is being met with disciplinary charges. Cooperate. We have thoughts. Several of them. Not all of them are nice. After that we're talking trade wars, because apparently we're in one now — with Canada. The Wall Street Journal is calling it "The Dumbest Trade War," and honestly? We can't argue with the headline. We break down how we got here and why it's, well, dumb. And finally, we close out with a mystery that just keeps getting weirder: four years ago a crypto boss vanished without a trace. Now? His successor is missing too.     Trump's Tariff Fairy Tale, Ossoff Drops the Mic, and Louisiana Arrests Hate Crime Victims

    Okay, buckle up, because we have got a LOT to unpack this week and none of it is good, but ALL of it is going to make you scream-laugh into your steering wheel. Trump says he's got "a deal" with Canada on tariffs — girl, no you don't. Mark Carney said "substantial progress," which in diplomat-speak translates directly to "absolutely not, but I'm not trying to start anything today." We're calling it: Schrödinger's Trade Deal. It exists and doesn't exist simultaneously, depending entirely on how badly Trump needs a win on a given Tuesday. Then Jon Ossoff stood up and said what we've been screaming since 2016 — calling out a "draft-dodging, crook president" who's dragged this country into a war he can't finish and doesn't understand. Senator, we see you, we hear you, please keep going. We're also talking about the 35-year-old aide dubbed the "human printer" — because apparently loyalty in this administration means becoming a Xerox machine with a pulse. The stories coming out about her devotion are scary and strange, y'all. And then — then — we get to Louisiana, where a trans couple was brutally attacked by a MOB in a public park bathroom, beaten, terrorized... and the police showed up and arrested THEM. The victims.
