    Full Show Thursday 9/17/26: LIVE at Free Spirit! Wk 2 CFB & Wk 3 NFL Picks!

They review last week’s picks and JMV also talks about the defense one more time before he acknowledges we all need to put last week behind and move to Kansas City. 25:26– 41:17 – Todd Leabo of WHB 810 in Kansas City joins the show. He gives the lowdown on the Chiefs and what their left tackle situation looks like, how the Chiefs are viewing the Colts and some of the Indiana natives that suit up for the Chiefs. Plus, how does the second youngest roster in the league mesh with the team that’s led by veterans? He also answers some Chris Ballard questions as he used to work in Kansas City.  41:17– 45:24 – JMV and Brent Holverson are pleased with adding college football to their picks, reviewing John’s conversation with Todd Leabo. 45:24 - 1:07:18 – Our Locks and Lunazul Tequila Shots picks begin in college football with some of the biggest games, including LSU-Ole Miss, Houston-Texas Tech and all of the Indiana teams in action! Also, Metallica is coming back to Indy. 26:31– 41:07 – John gets a text from his friend at WZPL who wants to have caller Butch from earlier in the week on the show. Then, he talks to owner of Barringers, Rob, to talk about the history of the location, the specials and why it’s a great place to watch a game.  41:07– 44:50 – A listener suggests Louis Riddick as the Colts GM, wrapping up the hour! 44:50 - 1:08:52 – From The Fan Morning Show, Kevin Bowen joins the show for his weekly Wednesday appearance. They go big picture on the Colts organization and where they go from here. They touch on Akeem Davis-Gaither getting green dot responsibilities as well as Keenan Allen’s court hearing today. They turn to why CJ Allen isn’t ready yet and the prep for Kansas City. How is it different than last week’s preparation and how similar is it to last year’s matchup?  1:08:52 – 1:28:16 – The Athletic dropped a story this morning, revealing what schools are spending on NIL across the Power 4 conferences. Then he moves back into the Colts and the confusion on how that happened Sunday afternoon and why they will have to do even more to make up for it.  28:17– 40:08 – We take a caller, John, who explains how frustrating it is to financially support the Colts while they continue to fail time after time. Then, he talks to _ of the Indy Eleven to discuss what it’s like to work for the team, and where the Indy Eleven find themselves at this point in the season. 40:08– 46:14 – We take a call from AJ, who didn’t make it yesterday. They shift to what Jeff has seen from the football team before getting to the commitment of 7-footer from Germany, Felix Kiehlneker, and his scouting report, as well as what Ryan Carr’s approach is to roster building. 1:14:30 – 1:26:03 – After a photo surfaces of Jeremiah Johnson with Pacers players in Nashville for their mini-camp. Then, they move to the Purdue game from Saturday and why Mark would’ve liked to have seen the Boilermakers be a little more aggressive than they were. Also, what did he like from Ryan Browne’s performance? Also, his thoughts on the college landscape. Also, how does he begin to prepare for an 11pm eastern kickoff Saturday when Purdue travels to UCLA?  1:52:55 – 2:09:38 – Greg Rakestraw, voice of the Indy Eleven, stops by the show live with John.     Full Show 9/14/26: Colts get blown out at home, Stephen Holder joins!

    00:00 – 33:09 – The show begins with an opening rant from JMV reacting to the 41-23 Ravens thrashing of the Colts in Lucas Oil Stadium yesterday. He explains how it was an encapsulation of the deterioration of the franchise over the last decade-plus. He speaks to the fans' frustration and why it has been too long since they’ve seen success.  33:09– 41:48 – JMV reads texts and takes a call from Mike in Brooklyn 41:48– 46:00 – Another caller offers his thoughts before the hour wraps up! 46:00 - 1:09:45 – JMV resets the conversation about the Colts, including why a person to oversee the entire football operation might be needed. We get to more texts and callers, including one who’s not a fan of the Colts, but wants to know how much beer and cigarettes they should get for their friends that are Colts fans.  1:09:45 – 1:22:27 – How appalling was it that Jaylon Carlise recorded 0 stats and CJ Allen didn’t play? Loyal listener Marcellus chimes in and wonders about the general manager position.  1:22:27 – 1:31:11 –.We get to caller Butch who has a multitude of strong opinions, most importantly on the state of the Colts. He lets out his frustration in what is surely one of the best calls the show has had all year.  1:31:11 – 1:59:25 – From ESPN.com, Stephen Holder returns for his weekly 5pm segment. He and John begin to break down what they saw yesterday, everything from Justin Walley’s struggles to Charvarius Ward’s comments today. Also, Stephen explains what is realistic when it comes to mid-season changes. They begin to move into next week’s game vs. Kansas City on Sunday night football, and anything else he learned about yesterday’s drubbing.  1:59:25 – 2:08:53 – Continuing to take callers towards the end of the show. 2:08:03 – 2:09:54  – Caleb ends the show from a producing standpoint in the same manner the Colts played yesterday.
