On Monday, September 3, 1990 Betty Jones and Kathryn Crigler were gruesomely raped and killed in Starkville, Mississippi in an unsolved case known as the “Labor Day Murders.” Even though their story received National attention on America’s Most Wanted, the case sat cold for more than 27 years. Artist renderings of the suspect have been created and updated, DNA tests have been run and rerun, but yet the identity of the true killer went unknown for far too long.

Throughout this true crime podcast, we will dig into the details of these murders, make strides towards uncovering answers and seek justice for the lives of these victims.

48 Hours

I like the Podcast. I think Jason does a good job with the story. Each episode is a little repetitious but still good.

I watched 48 hours before finishing the Podcast. So I know the outcome. Jason looks exactly like I pictured him!

(I’m just now listening and I heard this podcast mentioned on tv. I was surprised that it was broadcast on 48 Hours, but then thought I must have heard about the podcast last week during the previews for this week 1/19/19).

Extremely Well Done

Jason & Team, I am really enjoying the podcast. You’ve done a great job bring Betty & Kathryn to life I don’t know why anyone would say they found you disingenuous. I couldn’t disagree more. I definitely feel how much you you loved your Grandma Betty. I can’t wait to find out what happens.
