Great shows. Although I don’t always agree with your opinions, 99% of your shows and topics are thought provoking, well intentioned and based on Scripture. Rich’s rant on America’s police officers in regard to traffic enforcement and other enforcement as well as his response, while beginning as an accurate representation of a relatively small number of police officers enforcing the G’s tyrannical Covid policies, missed the target. The majority of police officers do not stop motorists for going 5mph over speed limit. The majority of police officer are not conducting traffic stops to “tax” motorists or create revenue for governmental purposes (In some, NOT ALL, jurisdictions traffic fine money is distributed to multiple entities- State, County, Victims of Crimes funds, other programs aimed at traffic safety and a small amount is given back to the jurisdiction in which the ticket was written and placed into the general fund.). The majority of police officers did not handcuff pastors, business owners or others during the G’s overreaching Covid policies. Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus yet we cannot lump all the Apostles in with the one that betrayed. As with any group of people there will be outliers, doing wrong things for wrong reasons or wrong things for what they believe are right reasons. There is in fact problems in America’s policing. There are many factors involved- poor leadership, lack of proper training, lack of suitable candidates to hire, misguided policies and standard operating procedures...the list goes on. In many areas these shortcomings are being addressed in innovative ways- virtue training for on and off duty, BJJ as “defensive tactics”...the list goes on. Rich I truly believe your words in regard to America’s police officers were well intentioned, meant to provoke thought and change. I’m in for that! I’m not in for bashing police with broad strokes.
