I love these guys! The veteran Hollywood film composer Alan Silvestri posted about this podcast months ago on his Instagram when one of his masterpieces Back To The Future was a subject. Ever since, this podcast has been my workout buddy! There are not many series produced in this podcast. So I tried to find other good film scoring podcasts, but I found other ones are basically about casual “talking” of journalists and hobbyists who don’t know about music theory much, but they just talk about their own taste and opinions which I don’t learn anything much. The Art of The Score is hosted by actual musicians and musicologists. I’ve really enjoyed all of their podcasts with musical analysis of the greatest TV/film scores in detail with their background stories. It’s really helpful to know how film scores work for composers and serious film music lovers as well. You hit home run, Aussies! Please post more & more Art of The Score podcasts!
