Great book recommendations!! 📚

My TBR pile has gotten (even more) out of control since I found this podcast—I’ve binged so much of their archive! Great insight into the books I know and love, and so many new books for me now to read. Everything they talk about is right in line with my interests!

What a great show!

The hosts are so easy to listen to, they have warm, welcoming voices and talk clearly as they discuss horror and share their thoughts. Highly recommend

It’s fun a great pod IF you have read the book.

I really want to love this show because I have listened to a TON of their episodes because this couple’s dynamic is so infectious and they are seriously the cutest but the more episodes I listen to the more I realize it feels like I’m just the third wheel on a book conversation between a vibing married couple. Other than reading a quick synopsis of the book, they never really go much into the plot even in the spoiler section. I want to get book recommendations, and I have received a great many recommendations that I have loved but it’s boring to hear them go on and on in the spoilers like this: “oh remember when he went in the cottage and spoke to his dead mom…?” “Oh my god yes…. I loved that part so much I cried! “ oh and what about when he saw his grieving brother in the field?” “You know that didn’t move me that much?” I need more context you guys!! If you’re in the spoilers section, treat me like an adult and give me some spoilers! I want to hear more about the plot and why that point in the plot was meaningful and then why it was meaningful to you, not just that you read it. And if I also read the book then flesh it out more. That’s why I’m listening. I want to hear some in depth discussion.

I know these hosts have day jobs so I’m sure time is precious and I get that but I need something a little more meaty.
