His voice is very attention grabbing
I love listening to these podcasts and watching the YouTube channel. I especially love the fact that Todd works with Living Waters. He is very accurate in theology and funny at the same time.
Nope it’s 100% accurate
I love wretched because it’s theological and amazing ✌🏻😀
Discern, discern, discern
Over 100 episodes in. After reading the comments you’ll note that the low star reviews seem to indicate people who’s favorite false teacher was rebuked on this show or just nonsensical, unclear comments from unbelievers who don’t like when sound doctrine shines the light on their favorite spiritual hiding place.
Regarding the accusations of gossip: if I punch and old lady in the face and someone sees it and says to a police officer “that man punched an old lady” that doesn’t qualify as gossip. This show address know current events with a lens of reformed theological discernment. If it disturbs you, it’s likely because you have poor theology.
Regarding accusations of snarkiness: yes there is sometimes joking about the absurdity of the insane claims of false teachers who claim that angel wing feathers and glitter fall from the ceiling of their church, that Jesus is 900 feet tall and hangs out for small talk with you and that you can cure all diseases if you donate enough money. Yes. This stuff should be mocked, laughed and kicked out of the door of the church for how arrogant, deceptive and stupid it is. False teachers don’t get the same respect as a true teacher or a sincere person who is struggling with something. Remember that Jesus Himself and Paul used: pigs, dogs, vipers and fools as words to describe these people.
If you like emotionalism and doctrine based on the way you feel, this probably isn’t the podcast for you. But if you actually want a very gracious, sometimes funny, always profitable perspective on looking at the modern world through a biblical worldview, there is a lot to get from listening to this podcast.
