First up, Jenn is getting ready for an upcoming cruise - but she's still at home for a while... and Dave gives his full review of the new Muppet Show episode on Disney+, also revealing his love of Sabrina Carpenter. Then, a look at the Disney Flag Retreat and a salute to 101 year old Herb Maneloveg, a veteran and American hero!  Finally... the news of the week, as Josh D'Amaro is appointed CEO of The Walt Disney Company, while Dana Walden takes on the newly created role of President and Chief Creative Officer, so we do a deep dive.  We take a look at the resumes of each, where they come from, experiences and previous roles, including Dana's "Jerry Maguire Moment" and how she had a hand in creating the modern "binge-worthy" trend, and Josh's part in Pandora in Animal Kingdom and being so Cast Member friendly.     The One with the Festival of the Arts Weekend Review

    In the 282nd episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave have returned from the Upon a Star Travel meet up in Disney World for Festival of the Arts!! The whole episode is one big "How did you Disney this week" as they give a handful of quick reviews on a large amount of places eaten, parties attended, resorts slept in, and much more.  Dave got a couple of new shirts, including a brand new Figment to sport.  You'll find our takes on resort stays in Bay Lake Tower and Caribbean Beach... restaurants like Biergarten, Topolino's, Skipper's Canteen, Tuttio Italia, and Jaleo... lounges like Geo-82 and a return to Beak & Barrel... and events like the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party - and the differences in the pre-party, the Seats & Eats, and the post-party - and which one we recommend.     The One Revisiting Stacey & the Must-Dos

    In the 281st Episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave are working on borrowed time as they are both getting set for the annual gathering of Upon a Star friends in Disney World!  First up, Jenn is doing her packing, while Dave tells the story about Southwest that had him fuming... then how the Lovely Wife solved the problem.   Then, a quick look at Fast & Furious in Universal - the bad (Fast and Furious Supercharged) and the hopefully good (the Fast & Furious Roller Coaster) coming in a few years.     In the 280th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave are ready to chat about the Wizarding World... but first, the Star Wars... To open up, both are set with their Guardians of the Galaxy Lightning Lanes for their upcoming trip with Upon a Star Team! Then... the big news that Original Trilogy Star Wars is coming to Disneyland's Galaxy's Edge - Han, Luke, Leia, Vader, with John Williams music, as Disney seeks to redo a little theming and timelines in the SW areas.  Plus, a quick look at the sequel trilogy and why this move maybe should have been done years ago (we've been screaming it!) Then, focusing on the Wizarding Worlds of Harry Potter in Universal Orlando!  We discuss our own relationships to the Potterverse - reading the books, watching the movies, and impressions on seeing the first Potter area in Islands of Adventure many years ago.  Then, a look at Hogsmeade, along with Hogwarts Castle and Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure over in Islands, then Diagon Alley, with Gringott's ride and Nocturn Alley in Universal Studios, and finally, the Parisian theming and the Ministry of Magic, plus the circus show and that French cafe that we forgot the name of, all over in Epic Universe. It's not nearly as comprensive as it could be - that would take many hours - but it's a great overview of what you can expect at the Wizarding Worlds - plus how you can (and should) ride the Hogwarts Express!

    In the 278th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave are wrapping up the year of podcast eps with the final (new) show of 2025!  This go around, they open up with Jenn returning back from a whirlwind weekend at WDW, while Dave recounts a story from his own family meeting Star Lord at Epcot. The news gives the update on the Taylor Swift display in Hollywood Studios... Typhoon Lagoon closing and Blizzard Beach opening... Chef Art's Brunchmas... and charming little story about a couple spending their anniversaries at Disneyland - like, 70 of them...  Plus happy birthday Dick Van Dyke! Then, in an update from our episode 82 in 2021, we look at the song "My Favorite Things", as sung by the immaculate Julie Andrews - and we give our favorite things - everything from places we want to return to and visit for the first time... favorite Disney dogs... snacks... pastas... where we'd be "basic"... where to get out of the rain... and even a little coffee talk. Plus our usual random sidebars and asides as we chat a little Disney magic and why we love to travel and help others do the same.

    In the 277th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave are ready for Christmas!  Ready for New Years! And ready for all the Magical Goodness coming in 2026! Then, starting in January, we begin to look at 2026 month by month... the attraction opening and closings, Aerosmith closing, any big news, Disney/Marvel/Star Wars releases, D23, the returns of festivals and other events and much, much more. Jenn chats a little about the Disney Adventure and what to expect, marathon weekends, Hannah Montana's 20th anniversary, and both of us try to figure out who or what the heck is Wonder Man... (All announcements are as up to date as we could get it - but things can always change...)
