    It's Lucille Ball week as we discuss the new documentary and new movie starting Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem. We take Lucy through her career and marriage to Desi. We talk about Desilu's formation and how Lucy became sole runner of the studio which produced Star Trek. After the first half hour we discuss the the write-in campaing that kept Trek on the air, Nimoy's requests, and we discuss a new Star Trek preview and how Picard used Star Trek: Online to find new types of shifts.     This week: 2001 A Space Odyssey. We discuss THE movie that influences Lots of Sci-Fi to come including the Star Trek: The Motion Picture and Star Wars. We discuss the Lynchian mood of the end of this film with a toe dip into Season Three of Twin Peaks. Matt talks about how this movie is full of the things he usually hates but yet succeed in this movie. We discuss parallels of 2001 to Star Trek:TMP all the while Ken describes the movie as an art piece.
